Say wahaitu ilaihi or auhaitu when we talk to someone that is unknown to others. Revelation is a quick gesture. It happens through conversation in the form of formulas and symbols, and sometimes through the voice alone, and sometimes also through gesture with the limbs.
Al-revelation is said Masdar / infinitive, and the material it shows the two basic, which is hidden and quick. Therefore, it is said that the revelation was hidden notice and a special fast given to those who told no one else knows. This masdarnya understanding. However, sometimes that meant was al-muha, namely understanding isim maf'ul revealed.
Understanding of revelation in the sense of language include:
Inspiration, as a basic innate human, as revelation of the mother of Moses, "And we inspired the mother of Moses, 'he Breastfeed ...'." (Al-Qasas: 7).
Inspiration in the form of instinct in animals, as revealed to the bee, "And your Lord has revealed to the bee, 'Make a nest in the hills, on trees, and in houses built man'." (An-Nahl: 68).
Signals rapidly through the formulas and codes, such as signal Zakaria told the Koran, "he came out of the sanctuary, and signaled to them, 'you should celebrate in the morning and evening'." (Maryam: 11).
Whisper and the cunning of Satan to make the bad look beautiful in human beings. "Truly the devils whispering to his friends so they argue with you." (Al-An'am: 121). "And so we make for every prophet an enemy, namely the demons of the human species and the type of jeans, some of them whispered to others words beautiful to deceive them." (Al-An'am: 112).
What was delivered by God to his angels in the form of a command to do.
"Remember when your Lord revealed to the angels, 'Verily I am with you, then validate the establishment of the people who believe'." (Al-Anfal: 12).
Was the revelation of God to His prophets in their syar'i defined as kalam Allah revealed to a prophet. This definition uses the notion maf'ul, namely almuha (revealed). Ustad Muhammad Abduh defining revelation in Risalatut Tawheed is the knowledge gained by someone from within himself with the belief that knowledge comes from God, through an intermediary or not. The first through the voice incarnate in his ear or no voice at all. The difference between the revelation by inspiration is that inspiration that intuition is believed that the soul compelled to follow what is asked, without knowing where it came from. Things like that are similar to being hungry, thirsty, sad, and happy.
The definition above is the definition of revelation with understanding Masdar. The early part of this definition implies some similarity between the revelation with a conscience or kasyaf, but the distinction with the definition of inspiration at the end of this negate.
