God called the Koran with a few names;
Qur'an
"The Qur'an is to guide a more straight path." (Al-Isra ': 9).
Book
"Have we sent down to al-book in which there are causes of glory for you." (Al-Ambiya ': 10).
Furqan
"Most holy God who sent down Al-Furqan to His servant so that he became a warner to the worlds." (Al-Furqan: 1).
Zikr
"Actually we were already down az-zikr (the Qur'an) and the fact we were really going to care." (Al-Hijr: 9).
Tanzil
"And this Qur'an Tanzil (derived) from the Lord of the Worlds." (Ash-SYU'ARA: 192).
Quran and al-books more popular than the names of others. In this case Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Daraz said, "He called the Quran because he 'read' with the verbal, and is called al-books because he was 'written' with a pen. Both these names indicate the meaning in accordance with reality."
The naming of the Quran with these two names selayaknyalah signaled that he kept in the form hapalan and writing. Thus, if in between there is one stray, then others will make it right. We can not rely only to a person before hapalannya accordance with the agreed written by friends, who dinukilkan to us from generation to generation according to the state when first made. And, we can not rely only to the authors before the paper is in line with those based hapalan valid and isnad mutawatir.
With this double of care which God has implanted into the soul of the people of Muhammad to follow His Prophet, the Quran remained awake in a strong fortress. Nur (Light)
"O people, have come to evidence the truth from your Lord, and We sent down to the bright light." (An-Nisa ': 174).
Huda (Lesson), Syifa '(medicine), Rahmah (Mercy), and Mau'izah (Advice)
"O people, indeed has come to the advice from your Lord and a cure for that is in the chest, and guidance and mercy for those who believe." (Yunus: 57).
Mubin (the Explain)
"Now hath come unto you light from God and the book explains." (Al-Ma'idah: 15).
Mubarak (Blessed)
"And this Qur'an is a book that we have blessed, confirming that the books before ...." diturnkan (Al-An'am: 92).
Busyra (Good News)
"... Which justifies the books before and make guidance and glad tidings for those who believe." (Al-Baqarah: 97).
'Aziz (the Lord)
"Those who deny al-zikr (the Qur'an) when the Qur'an came to them, (they must have hurt). The Qur'an is a glorious book." (Fusilat: 41).
Majid (the Venerated)
"In fact, they deny that it is the Koran is respected." (Al-Fajr: 21).
Bashir (Good News Bearer) and Nazir (Presented Warning)
"The Book of the verses, the reading in Arabic, for people who know, who bring good tidings, and that carries a warning." (Fusilat: 3 - 4).
